'Person Of Interest' Season 5: Will Sarah Shahi, Amy Acker Reunite After 'Ray Donovan' Season 3?

Sarah Shahi is making her way to Ray Donovan Season 3 on Showtime in July. When Season 5 of Person of Interest premieres in 2016 on CBS, could Sarah Shahi (Shaw) reunite with Michael Emerson (Finch), Jim Caviezel (Reese), and Root Amy Acker (Root) during their 13 episode run.

In our finale recap, we last saw Sameen Shaw walking away willingly with Samaritan's agents, possibly because she was brainwashed. As Samaritan's agents took out Elias and Dominic, Greer's men put a bag over Control's face and took her hostage. As Pink Floyd's Welcome to the Machine started playing, Finch walked out, with no gun, alongside Reese and Root as they started shooting down Samaritan's agents.

As we mentioned before, CBS president Nina Tassler discussed the terms for the fifth season, "[Showrunners] Jonah Nolan and Greg Plageman came in and pitched really terrific ideas for the new season. So, we have to see. It's always been a very smart, creative show; we don't know yet whether it's going to be the end or not. If it is, we'll have a great ending."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Shahi will play Hasmig, an Armenian pop star, opposite Kate Moennig, who plays Ray's assistant Lena. Slated to appear in one episode, this makes it an L Word reunion between Shahi and Moennig. Ray Donovan's third season premieres on Sunday, July 12 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.

Due to her pregnancy, Shahi had to leave POI and would give the okay to creator Jonathan Nolan when she could return. Nolan stated he had a "killer" storyline setup for Sameen's return. If this is the final season, we would love to see Shaw return. Plus, she has kids now, she needs to start thinking of saving up for heir college tuition.
