Pop songstress and "The X-Factor" judge Demi Lovato recently released a touching music video for "Angels Among Us" - a tribute to the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut which took place on Dec. 14 (ultimately claiming the lives of 20 innocent children and six brave faculty members). Lovato opens up the tribute with this message - "We can never imagine what the families in Newtown, CT are experiencing right now. And while there is nothing we can do to replace their loss, we can stand together and support them during this difficult time."
Watch the beautifully touching "Angless Among Us" here... Lovato introduces the musical tribute with, "This song is in honor of those angels we lost on December 14." Lovato sings in a very intimate setting, surrounded by lit candles:
Fans are asked to make contributions to the "We are Newtown" organization, an initiative that "was started as a community site to share fundraising efforts and goodwill in support of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy."
