Baseball's back for the official 2015 MLB season!
The Philadelphia Phillies take the field against the New York Yankees in Week 12 of the regular season on Monday, June 22 at 7:05 p.m. EST at beloved Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the evening ballgame online - also catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
New York snags a rather high spot in ESPN.com's official break-down of all 30 teams (power rankings), while Philadelphia lingers at the bottom:
Yankees (7): "The Yankees had a much better week this time around but the biggest story, by far, was Alex Rodriguez getting his 3,000th hit by rudely reintroducing himself to Justin Verlander and belting a first-pitch, 95 mph fastball into the seats in right field at Yankee Stadium on Friday. He also hit a bomb for hit No. 3,001 on Saturday." Stacey Gotsulias, It's About the Money
New York currently maintains a steady 38-31 winning record, and remains 2nd in the American League Eastern Division.
Phillies (30): "Local columnists suggested Ryne Sandberg's fate was sealed when Chase Utley -- usually a guy who doesn't say anything -- berated pitching coach Bob McClure (and, by extension, Sandberg) for leaving outfielder Jeff Francoeur in to throw 48 pitches in a 19-3 blowout. Of course, in the end, it doesn't matter who manages this awful team." David Schoenfield, SweetSpot
Philadelphia holds a meager 24-47 winning record, and is 5th in the National League Eastern Division.
The ballgame will be broadcasted live on local sports channels WPIX and CSPh.
