New York currently maintains a steady 38-31 winning record, and remains 2nd in the American League Eastern Division.

Phillies (30): "Local columnists suggested Ryne Sandberg's fate was sealed when Chase Utley -- usually a guy who doesn't say anything -- berated pitching coach Bob McClure (and, by extension, Sandberg) for leaving outfielder Jeff Francoeur in to throw 48 pitches in a 19-3 blowout. Philadelphia holds a meager 24-47 winning record, and is 5th in the National League Eastern Division.
