The June 22, 2015 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw emanates live from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and features the return of Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman.

The Beast Incarnate and his manager emerge to start the show. Heyman explains how he negotiated Lesnar's return to WWE after he attacked Michael Cole and others on the night after WrestleMania 31. Lesnar needs to apologize, so he walks over to JBL and shakes his hand. Cole extends his hand, and Lesnar shakes it before he pulls him in for a noogie.

Heyman then launches into a tirade about WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, whom he says has been protected since his days in NXT. But the past and future champion, Brock Lesnar, will take back his belt at Battleground.

Kane defeats Dean Ambrose with a chokeslam after Rollins causes a distraction.

Backstage, Rollins talks to Kane about helping him win and suggests they unite again, but Kane rejects him and says he's just trying to get help to fight Lesnar. Rollins extends his hand and Kane walks away.

The Prime Time Players defeat The Ascension when Darren Young hits Viktor with the Gut Check.

Sheamus comes out as the WWE Tag Team Champions celebrate their victory. He faces Roman Reigns, who loses a lengthy match by count out after Bray Wyatt appears on the TitanTron having a tea party with someone off screen. Reigns assumes this is his daughter and sprints to the back, but the camera pans back to show Bray is talking to no one.

Reigns searches for Bray backstage, but all he finds is a dark room with pictures of himself and signs that read "Anyone But You."

J&J Security are drinking some coffee backstage when Rollins approaches and asks for their help. Jamie Noble tells him off and the two men leave despite Rollins' protests.

Neville defeats Kofi Kingston with the Red Arrow. The Prime Time Players show up during the match but they get sent back to the locker room, and The New Day follows shortly thereafter.

King Barrett defeats Zack Ryder with a Bullhammer as Ryder climbs the top rope. Before the match, we learn via a video that R-Truth now thinks he is the King of the Ring because he beat Barrett.

John Cena comes out and talks about his feud with Kevin Owens, who now wants a shot at the United States Championship. He says it would be easy for him to say no, but he accepts Owens' challenge even though he knows it might be a fight he can't win. Owens then comes out and says he doesn't care what people think of him. He then speaks French to Cena, and Cena responds in both French and Chinese. They set the match for Battleground.

Backstage, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are talking when Rollins comes in and tries to get their help. Triple H tells him to give it up. They brought Lesnar back because they believed Rollins is ready, but now he's understandably scared. Hunter tells him a smart man would have a foolproof backup plan. He advises him to go out there and apologize to the rest of The Authority.

The Bella Twins (w/Alicia Fox) defeat Naomi and Tamina Snuka.

Ryback defeats Mark Henry with a splash with Big Show on commentary. After the matc, Show punks Henry and leaves.

Jojo talks to Ryback about his Triple Threat match at Battleground, and he says he will beat both Show and The Miz. The giant walks in and says he will prove Ryback is a fraud. They fight and Ryback slams Show into a garage door.

Dolph Ziggler defeats Adam Rose with a superkick and then makes out with Lana. Rusev freaks out but falls because of his bad foot. Summer Rae hands him his crutch.

Backstage, J&J Security and Kane complain about Rollins, but Triple H and Stephanie McMahon tell them to let Rollins speak and apologize.

In the ring, Rollins calls out J&J Security and Kane to apologize to them individually. He tries, but Brock Lesnar comes out and circles the ring. Rollins' buddies run, but they quickly re-enter the ring and attack Lesnar, who immediately demolishes them. He plants Rollins with three German Suplexes, at which point Kane chokeslams him. Lesnar recovers, suplexes Kane, and sets up for an F5, but Kane takes out his legs. Rollins and Kane hit him in the leg with a chair, and J&J join in the attack. Rollins plants Lesnar with a Pedigree and poses with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt as the show goes off the air.
