The Britney Spears drama never seems to end! Following rumors that Simon Cowell - the mastermind behind the hit singing reality show "X-Factor" - plans on firing the pop songstress judge, reports started popping up that K-Fed's own brother, Christopher Federline, was claiming to be 7-year-old Sean Preston's true father! Not only that, but Spears' former brother-in-law allegedly filed a restraining order against the "blackmailing maniac," claiming that his brother's ex had stolen his credit card, made fun of his manhood, and threatened to oust him as the real father of Spears' oldest son, among a slew of other shady charges. But updated reports confirm that the restraining order and baby daddy drama is definitely a hoax made up by a convicted felon by the name of Jonathan Lee Riches. So while the "X-Factor" firing rumors may be true, it looks like Christopher Federline isn't angry with his bro's ex-wife, but more concerned that an ex-felon may have personal details about his work and home life. The "petition for preliminary injunction, temporary restraining order" allegedly filed against Spears in Florida is indeed fake.

Here is the original (bogus) restraining order document recently posted by several popular gossip tabloids including Us Weekly... the manuscript has since been proven doctored:

An updated report by Us Weekly claims that Chris Federline doesn't truly harbor any resentment against Spears... the songstress is merely the latest victim of an "infamous hoaxer." FYI: Spears married backup dancer Kevin Federline in 2004... they had their first son (Sean Preston) on Sept. 14, 2005. The couple had another kid, Jayden James Federline, on September 12, 2006. The duo then divorced in July, 2007 due to "irreconcilable differences."

One Us insider insists that the restraining order story "doesn't make any sense" (especially since Chris Federline is currently living and working in L.A. and the document was recently filed in Florida). Another inside source explains, "Chris wouldn't resort to trying to get money like this. Even if it were true. He has a good job, despite the document that says he's unemployed."

In fact, Federline is the one most concerned about the bogus document! Us insiders claim that "the signatures match so well," that the real person who filed the papers must somehow know personal details about Christopher's life... involving his ex-girlfriend, work history, etc. One source concludes, "The family is not done investigating!"

A recent report in the Smoking Gun ousts the hoaxer as 35-year-old convicted felon Jonathan Lee Riches - he was recently arrested on a federal probation violation charge.

The Smoking Gun shockingly reports that Riches has managed to file "hundreds" of fake lawsuits from prison targeting several famous/celebrity figures (remember that ridiculous lawsuit supposedly filed by Selena Gomez's father claiming that pop star Justin Bieber stole his credit card and used it to buy a penis enlargement? Yup - the morbid work of Riches). Another disturbing identity hoax concocted by Riches involved the recent school shooting tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, CT. Just two days after the heartbreaking shootings (Dec. 16), Riches (recently released from jail) drove to Connecticut and posed as gunman Adam Lanza's uncle, "Jonathan Lanza." Riches then told journalists that his "nephew" had been taking Fanapt, an antipsychotic drug prescribed for schizophrenia.

Just how Riches manages to get away with so many morbid hoaxes remains unknown - but what's certain is that the Britney Spears "restraining order" is indeed fake, and K-Fed is still the "real" father of young Sean Preston.
