The 19 Kids and Counting scandal seems to be still brewing in the wake of Josh Duggar confessing to sexually abusing five girls including his sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar. The incident happened years ago, but with the reports making their way to the surface earlier last month, the girls are having to relive the moment all over again. Despite the pain and embarrassment, it looks like the girls let the drama slide over the weekend as they took to sharing pictures of their dad on their Instagram pages, calling him a great example of what a good dad looks like, even though that it was revealed that he lied under oath about Josh's scandal.
It seems that the whole family decided to band together through the controversy as all three children gushed about their dad, Jim Bob, on their respective Instagram pages.
Josh posted the picture to the social media site of him, his dad and one of his brothers hanging out over the holiday.

"Happy Father's Day to my dad, Jim Bob. We're all so grateful for you and glad to spend the day with you! @duggarfam," the eldest Duggar child wrote. According to Radar Online, while Jill's main focus might have been new papa Derick Dillard on his first holiday as a proud parent, she did take time out to say what a role model her dad Jim was. Jessa also took the time to post a heartfelt message to her dad, but she also had another soon-to-be dad to congratulate on his first Father's Day.

"Thanks for all the back rubs, breakfast in bed, and for encouraging me to stick with those pregnancy workouts! You're the best! So blessed to have you as my husband and the father of our baby," the star wrote on the site.
