Pop Singer and "The X Factor" judge Britney Spears can breathe easy now.  It was previously reported that her ex-husband rapper Kevin Federline's brother Christopher had filed a suit claiming that he fathered Spear's first child Sean Preston. It now turns out that it was a hoax by a convicted felon Jonathan Lee Riches who impersonated Christopher Federline and filed a suit, 411mania reported.

The case against Spears was filed Dec. 18 at the Middle District of Florida. Two days later the suit Riches' filed was tossed out and the case  closed , TheSmokingGun reported.

In the lawsuit, Riches was seeking an "injunction and restraining order" from Spears. She, according to the lawsuit, had "used his stolen credit card" and brought comic books worth $4,569.02 from Comic Conquerors for Sean and Jayden, her sons. He also claimed that Spears made fun of him and apparently told him he had a "small pen*s." He further said that "I do confess I slept with Britney, and I am the true father." Adding, "She is out of control and maniac."

Spears may breathe a sigh of relief now. Riches has a history of filing phoney lawsuits against well-known personalities. He was arrested on probation violation charges when he claimed that he was the uncle of Sandy Hook Elementary School gunman Adam Lanza  and wanted to get into Lanza's house, Dec 16.

Riches had on previous occasions sued Brad Pitt, John Travolta and the Church of Scientology for assaulting him.

Spears and Kevin Federline were not available for comment, E! Online reported.
