Robert Pattinson was originally cast in movie director Martin Koolhoven's upcoming Western thriller,"Brimstone." But reports now suggest that the "Twilight" heartthrob was ultimately replaced by fellow English actor, Kit Harington. So - what's up with that? Maybe it's bad karma for not inviting Kristen Stewart to his future wedding - take that, FKA Twigs!

UPDATE: Kristen Stewart vs. Mia Wasikowska, Robert Pattinson Movie Love: Kit Harington 'Brimstone' Replacement

Actually, details surrounding the dramatic character change still remain unconfirmed. Back in February, Pattinson was slated to play an outlaw in the 2016 flick. Principal photography launched on June 15 and filming will now take place throughout Romania, Spain, and Germany.

But without the 28-year-old "Cosmopolis" heartthrob.

"Brimstone" will also stars Dakota Fanning, Guy Pearce (who co-starred with Pattinson in "The Rover"), and Carice van Houten.

So instead of an onscreen union between Pattinson and Pearce, Harington will now work again with Houten (another "Game of Thrones" star).

"Brimstone" follows the story of Liz [Fanning], who is "accused of a crime she never committed by the vengeful Reverend [Pearce]." She then must fight and survive for her daughter.

According to GossipCop, reps behind the film have yet to release an official statement. However, the movie's official Twitter and Facebook continue hyping Harrington's sudden replacement role. Pearce also tweeted:

@TheGuyPearce: "Yes it's true, Rob's out unfortunately and so's Mia but thankfully we've 2 great replacements in Kit Harrington and Dakota Fanning... xx Guy."

Mia Wasikowska (originally cast as Liz) also worked alongside Pattinson in the 2014 drama "Maps To The Stars." Obviously, her part was later handed to 21-year-old Fanning, instead.

How many MstarsNews readers still plan on seeing the flick despite the constant switch-ups?

Pattinson's still very busy - "Life" and "Queen of the Desert" premiere later this year, and he'll soon be filming "The Lost City of z" and "The Trap."

Meanwhile, 25-year-old K-Stew isn't wallowing in heartbreak - her critically acclaimed career is skyrocketing, too! Still, are former Robsten fans upset that Twigs supposedly won't allow the "Still Alice" beauty to attend Pattinson's upcoming nuptials?
