Only a day after her boyfriend Kanye West announced she was pregnant with the couple's first child, Kim Kardashian spoke about the early stages of her pregnancy, the dire feeling of morning sickness and what food she is craving to have but cannot.

While three months pregnant, the "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami" star spoke to reporters at a New Year's Eve party she hosted at the Las Vegas nightclub 1OAK. She said so far she has been lucky to avoid the morning sickness most pregnant women experience in the early months of their pregnancies.

"I have felt good. I haven't had any morning sickness, but it still isn't the easiest," she said. "People always say it's easy and fun. It's definitely an adjustment learning about your body and stuff like that. I've been feeling really good so that's good."

Kardashian, 32, in a black knee-length dress with lace detailing, attended the party with her boyfriend of eight months West, 35. She also noted that she hopes to find out the sex of the baby when possible.

"Of course I do want to know. I can't find out yet, but I do want to know," she said.

Also at the party, the reality television star revealed her biggest pregnancy craving. She said she always wants "sushi, but I know I can't really have it, so I'm eating a lot of carrots and celery with lots of ranch."

West announced Kardashian's pregnancy while singing "Now you having my baby," at his concert at Revel Resort's Ovation Hall in Atlantic City on Dec. 30. He asked the audience to congratulate his "baby mom," saying the pregnancy was the "most amazing thing."

Kardashian then confirmed the news on her website by saying the following:

"It's true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo
