'Duck Dynasty' John Luke Robertson & Mary Kate McEachearn Married

Forget about catcalls, we are sure that there were tons of duck calls over the weekend at John Luke Robertson and Mary Kate McEacharn's wedding. The stars of the A&E series, Duck Dynasty, got hitched in a ceremony at the Robertson's house in West Monroe, Louisiana where a whopping 800 guests were in attendance. According to Us Weekly, the two first met back in 2010 at Christian summer camp and after years of John Luke asking to take Mary Kate on a date she finally said yes. She ended up saying yes in a whole different way yesterday, as she became the newest member of the Robertson family.

Us Weekly is reporting that the ceremony and reception went off perfectly, as both the bride and the groom couldn't help but gush about how amazing the day was.

"I had an amazing time!" John told the news site, with Mary Kate echoing his sentiments, saying, "It was one of the best days of my life! It was everything I hoped it would be and more."

Some details from the wedding as reported by the Daily Mail stated that Willie Robertson officiated the wedding while guests were treated to a mariachi band performance beforehand.

After the ceremony, guests were treated to the outdoor reception, which included what sounds like some delicious food. The site is reporting that the attendees munched on grilled chicken skewers with vegetables, mini tacos and hamburgers, barbecue shrimp, and brisket sliders. After devouring that, the guests were then treated to a six-tier wedding cake with flowers, and some cronuts for the groom's cake.

According to the Us Weekly story, the couple is planning on attending Liberty University together in the fall.
