Karrueche Tran managed to avoid any awkward interactions with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown at the BET Awards on Sunday (June 28). The aspiring model totally kept her cool despite the nonstop dating drama - well, sort of!

Apparently, both Tran and Beezy made rather strategic moves in order to steer clear of one another. And the 27-year-old exotic beauty even got a little fiesty!

"[Karrueche] was walking back to her spot with a few other people," an alleged insider tells the popular gossip webloid HollywoodLife.com. "One of her girlfriends said, 'You know Chris is down there.' And Karrueche literally said 'You can sit me at the top [of the area they were seated in] because I don't want to see his a$$."

Hey - talking behind the "Fine China" crooner's back is better than indulging in yet another epic break-up fight, right?

Obviously, 26-year-old Brown wanted nothing to do with his hostile ex-girlfriend, either. The hip-hop superstar was on "high alert" while walking the red carpet before the show. He only stopped for a few press photos, then quickly hustled inside. Breezy didn't need the extra stress - considering he was nominated for six total awards and was scheduled to perform (twice):

He ultimately won for "Best Male R&B/Pop Artist," "Coca-Cola Viewers' Choice" (for Nicki Minaj's "Only"), and "FANdemoniam." Apparently Tran got some justice:

"She's sure that all the performances will be great," another snitch explains. "But she's keeping her fingers crossed that Big Sean and E-40 will win Best Collaboration for 'I Don't F*ck With You,' because that's exactly how she feels about you know who."

That award actually went to John Legend and Common for "Glory."

Oh, the drama...

But Tran (and her fresh blonde hair) did keep her cool while hanging out with BFF, Christina Milian:

karrueche: "me and bae @christinamilian."

Time to move on.
