Despite not knowing the sex of Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey baby just yet, at least fans and followers of the couple are getting a glance of the soon-to-be couple's baby nursery. MStars News has learned that the Devious Maids, and Glee star decided to go with a black and white themed nursery for her first child with the actor.

In a photo-shoot for My Domaine, Naya gave exclusive details to her adorable baby nursery. According to the site, the actress hired, designer Angelo Surmelis. Surmelis has also done other rooms in the home for the star.

Like Stephen and Ayesha Curry, Naya decided to create a nursery that was gender neutral and not "overly kid-like." It appears that Naya's inspiration for her child's nursery came from the black and white teepee that the couple bought before they found out they were pregnant.

"I actually was really inspired by the teepee and sort of built the room around that," Rivera told My Doaine. "Then I stayed within the color palette of black, white, cream, and gray." The unique colors from the rug, and the dramatic wallpaper came together pretty good. "I'm a big fan of wallpaper, and the graphic prints on the walls and the striped Roman shades gave the room a nice contrast that will be great for our baby," Rivera explained. "Babies can only really see black and white and stark contrast for the first few weeks, and they pick up the shape of objects from that."

One smart decor move that Naya and Ryan used for a changing table that could be used in the future in some other room. "Some of the pieces we got-like the changing table-are just great 'adult' pieces that can be moved to any room later down the line," Naya said later in the interview.

The Glee star admitted that her favorite item inside her nursery was the $600 bird chandelier. "I love so many things in the nursery, but my favorite would have to be the bird chandelier," Rivera says. "It's so fun and adds a pop of color and youth!"

She also said that the photo of her unborn child and her wedding day photo are favorites too. Those items were placed inside of the bookshelf.

"My favorite item in the bookshelf is the photo of Ryan and I at our wedding, and the baby's ultrasound picture," the actress stated. "You can see the baby's face so clearly!"
