It appears that BET Host Tracee Ellis Ross got word that she allegedly threw some shade at Chris Brown and Tyga. MStars News learned that Ross appeared to feel some type of way while introducing the duo before they took the stage to perform during Sunday night's BET Awards.

According to Us Weekly, Ross said: "Equally a triple threat — young, sexy and black," she said, reading off a teleprompter and smiling. "Please welcome..." she continued with a long pause, laughing and flat out saying, "Tyga ... and Chris Brown."

Following her introduction social media went wild claiming that the actress was throwing pure shade to the singer and rapper.

CraigTM @SmokeeRobinson "SO MUCH SHADE TRACEE!!! LMAOOO"

Ebonyzer @ChaynaShortcake "On the sunniest of days, I could still feel the shade in Tracee's presentation of Tyga and Chris Brown"

Ben Carlos Thypin @SoBendito "Tracee Ellis Ross seemed understandably uncomfortable introducing Tyga and Chris Brown. #BETAwards"

Nessa. @curlyheadRED "OMG. Tracee just gave so much SHADE to Tyga & Chris Brown #BETAwards"

Ross, 42 claims that she wasn't throwing any kind of shade, infact she revealed that she didn't know how to pronounce Tyga's name the correct way.

"Absolutely not [throwing] shade at @kinggoldchains (I'm not the shade throwing type) as u might remember from my TMurda 'further exploration' video I have trouble saying his name right & I was nervous," she wrote via Instagram. "I was hosting a live show. I was fighting in my head cause I was so scared I would say it the wrong way. That would have been awful. Saw him as he came off stage and there was nothing but love. You rock Tyga. #BETAwards," she explained.

In the video clip it's clear that Ross does struggle with the rapper's name. She believed that Tyga was pronounced Tiger or Tigger from the hit Disney cartoon Winnie the Pooh.
