Rihanna Dumps New Boyfriend Karim Benzema, Chris Brown Love Too Strong? Shades Drake, No Soccer Engagement

Rumors initially suggested that things were getting extremely serious between Rihanna and new soccer boyfriend, Karim Benzema. But apparently, controversial ex-lover Chris Brown will always hold a tender spot in RiRi's heart - and now she can't seem to move on romantically!

Apparently, the "B*tch Better Have My Money" songstress and Breezy bonded again the BET Awards on Sunday evening (June 28). The 27-year-old Barbadian beauty offered her former beau lots of love and support backstage during private rehearsals:

"Look, every now and then a man needs to be told how good he looks good, he's doing a great job and he's appreciated," an alleged HollywoodLife.com insider explains. "Saying those three things to a man - and meaning it - it's the ultimate orgasm. Rihanna wasn't trying to be sexual with him when she saw him yesterday, but she wanted to tell Chris how proud she is of him. After everything he's gone through, he's still pushing forward, making music and the best part is - he's a proud father."

But - will Chrianna love bloom again?

Another source for the popular gossip webloid insists that RiRi already confessed her true feels about Brown to her current hook-up (Benzema):

"Rihanna does like Karim and enjoys him a lot. He treats her well and he's such a stud in everything he does... She told him she won't break his heart but did tell him she'll always love Chris."

Wonder if the Real Madrid superstar can handle such competition. Perhaps the growing relationship isn't so steady?

"Karim feels very insecure after seeing Rihanna's face light up as she danced and sang along to Chris' music... He didn't even want her to attend the show. Rihanna listened to Karim and essentially told him that he's right. That it's going to be extremely hard for anyone to compete with Chris," the snitch reveals. "There's just so much history and love between them that will forever connect them for the rest of their lives."

Pretty harsh reality. But will the infamous #BadGal still introduce Benzema to her extended family in an attempt to forget about Breezy (again)?
