Karrueche Tran Attacked By Chris Brown & Rihanna Fans Via Twitter

Fans are reacting to "Vanity" actress Karrueche Tran's recent interview where she comes out about her father's sexuality. Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend admitted that her father was homosexual and knowing about his sexual preference from middle school and gets slammed by fans for constant Rihanna and Chris interviews.

"I don't think I've ever told anybody this but my father is gay," Karrueche said. "I think I never told anybody just because I don't realize that that's not necessarily normal. I live my life as me so it's just like 'oh that's my dad.' But when I tell people sometimes, they're like, 'Really? That's kind of interesting.'"

The working actress explained that she knew at a young age and received confirmation from her mother when she was old enough, "I knew from like middle school, even elementary school. I knew something was different and I don't know how I even knew what gay was, being so young. I think when you're younger you catch on to things and you kind of get the hang of it. I've just kind of always known and then as I grew older we had certain talks with my mom and it was just what it was."

In the same interview fans slammed her for still answering questions about her ex, Chris Brown and pop star Rihanna.

She said says she tries her best to avoid any run-ins with the 26-year-old singer, "You know, we never cross paths, but it gets a little iffy sometimes. But, we make it work so it's not too uncomfortable or awkward. This weekend, though, I did have security, just because as I'm sure you know, things got a little crazy a few weeks ago."

The star also admitted that she is tired of fans slamming her following her brief with the "B*tch Better Have My Money" singer, "I would say the negativity - I think - would be the hardest thing, just because it's always thrown at me, regardless of what I do. Like yesterday I went to the BET Awards and I had a silver wig, and they're like, 'OMG, Rihanna did that first! You suck!' I'm like, okay! It's like, if I cough, they're like, 'OMG, Rihanna coughed and you coughed!' Like, come on! You know what I mean? People look for the negative in everything and it sucks because I'm trying to build a career and do my own thing and it's like, I just have these people waiting for something to happen or waiting just for that moment to just roast me. But you got to grow a tough skin."
