Music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs dodges a felony charge after his alleged assault with a kettleball on his son's UCLA coach.

Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office spokesman, Ricardo Santiago said the prosecutors will not charge the "Bad Boy" celebrity.

Attorney Mark Geragos responded on behalf of Combs, "We are thankful that the district attorney rejected felony charges in this matter," said Geragos, who is a CNN legal analyst. "This case never should have been part of the criminal justice system to begin with."

Comb's rep initially said that the incident was all in self defense, "Any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son," the representative said in a statement posted on Combs' website last month. "We are confident that once the true facts are revealed, the case will be dismissed."

Former UCLA coach, Rick Neuheisel admits that he only offered Diddy's son, Justin Combs a spot on the team because of his father's celebrity status during an interview with SiriusXM College Sports Nation radio show Wednesday following his kettlebell incident.

"When you're weighing the assets of what a youngster can do for your program, there's no question (being Diddy's son) had something to do with it for me." He continued, "Justin is a great kid. His problem was his size. He's not big enough to be a dominant player. Could he be productive? Yes. The fact his father was an influential guy played into my decision to go ahead and offer him."

According to Page Six, the altercation between Sal Alosi and the rap mogul occurred after there were reports of Justin being bullied by the UCLA coach.

One source revealed, "Justin has been bullied for nearly three years," the insider added, "in front of the team. It's been over the top."

Apparently, Justin has taken a beaten while redshirting his junior year and source say Diddy's first born has always "done what's expected of him." But "Justin has been a real target of this coach, who's been bullying him, and [Alosi] kicked him out of practice and told him to go home and not to come back till the end of the summer."

Actor, Tyrese Gibson revealed that Justin has been a victim to bullying based off his father's wealth and fame in an open letter on Instagram, "There is a such thing as people purposely treating YOU like shit because of WHO your dad IS..... They will tear you down, attack your character, put you through waaaaaaaayyyy more than the others just because of WHAT you were born into."
