Kim Kardashian Father Spoke on Interracial Relationships Long Before Kanye West Marriage

From the looks of it Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have had a happy and successful marriage after their dream wedding in Europe. The husband and wife have a daughter, North, and another baby boy is right on the way. Years before the marriage, however, Kardashian's father Robert warned her about interracial relationships. She recently opened up about it in her Rolling Stone interview.

While dating Michael Jackson's nephew TJ, the elder Kardashian said that not everyone would approve of interracial relationships.

"He explained to me that he's had a lot of interracial friends, and it might not be the easiest relationship," Kardashian told RS. "He said I should prepare myself for people to say things to me."

Kim then went on to say she liked the look of interracial couples. According to her, they looked "cute."

"When I was in high school, I'd get magazines and see interracial couples and think, 'They are so cute.' I've always been attracted to a certain kind of look."

Kardashian told RS that she and her husband are very much opposites. She says she respects his decision to not be a part of their show. "You can't expect me to jump up onstage and start singing – it's not what I do."

The one thing they do agree on is fashion. Kim says that Kanye has had a lot of influence on her wardrobe. She appreciates the advice Kanye has given her over the years a lot. She says he introduced her to runway designers. Still, she says she would have eventually switched up her style whether Kanye was involved in how she dressed or not.
