Radamel Falcao EPL Transfer News: Monaco Star Scores Chelsea Loan for 2015/16 Season Fixtures

After a few months of speculation and rumors, it looks like Monaco's Radamel Falcao will remain in the Barclays Premier League for the upcoming 2015 - 2016 season table fixtures, but he isn't staying with Manchester United. Though other teams like Liverpool FC were in the mix for a short while, Jose Mourniho and his 2015 EPL Champions Chelsea FC have signed the Colombian goal-scorer on loan for the upcoming games and the player has another trophy on his mind! The 29-year-old has high hopes for his return under the coaching of Mourinho. Speaking with his new team's official website, Falcao expressed his excitement for the new season, in which he hopes to help lead Chelsea to another championship.

"I am very happy to be joining Chelsea and can't wait to start training and help with our aim of retaining the league title and being successful in Europe," Radamel said, according to PremierLeague.com.

Many are wondering why Mourinho wanted Falcao after his less than impressive stint at Man. U. John Russell, chairman of Chelsea Central Supporters' Club, has faith in his manager, though.

"He knows what he is doing. He's not made many mistakes [in the transfer market] has he? If you stack them up there aren't many that have failed to make the grade under his regime," the supporter said, according to FourFourTwo.com.
