Katherine Webb Dating AJ McCarron [PHOTOS]: Miss Alabama and Crimson Tide Quarterback Spark Buzz After BCS Championship Win [VIDEO]

Life's pretty good for University of Alabama quarterback Raymond Anthony "AJ" McCarron, Jr. Not only did the Crimson Tide star lead his team to victory over undefeated Notre Dame in Monday evening's BCS National Championship NCAAF game, but his gorgeous girlfriend Katherine Webb was there in the stands to cheer him on for support. The stunning 23-year-old reigning Miss Alabama USA stole the limelight during the highly-anticipated college football championship game, with the cameras repeatedly cutting to her anxious face in the crowd in-between plays. Following the Tide's BCS win, McCarron broke over 95,000 followers on Twitter... as for Webb, over a whopping 127,000.

McCarron, the first quarterback to win back to back BCS titles in history, celebrated Monday's victory by first hugging his mom, dad, and family... and then finally planting a kiss on Webb.

"That means he's a family guy, a mama's boy," Webb told Yahoo! Sports. "And I'm totally good with that. It's that personality that attracted me to him in the first place. It was never about his status on the team."

Other than the two best teams in college football battling it out on the turf, the striking beauty queen stole the spotlight Monday evening (Jan. 7), sitting in the stands flaunting her beau's no. 10 starting quarterback jersey. ESPN couldn't help but to show off Alabama's golden girl, and Webb definitely managed to catch some attention... both on and off the field.

Broadcaster Brett Musburger mused over Webb's beauty with former Ohio State QB Kirk Herbstreit during the championship's first-half discussion:

"Wow, you quarterbacks get all the good looking women. What a beautiful woman, whoa! If you're a youngster in Alabama, start getting the football out and throw it around the backyard with pops."

And social media/networking ran with Musburger's "wow" speech. A shocked Webb later told Yahoo! Sports, "My phone is dead! My followers went from 2,300 this morning to 96,000 by the end of the night. I don't know if I should even check now, I don't know what is going on!... I guess [Musburger] said something but I don't know what it was because I haven't seen it."

It's true... the Twitter world started buzzing following Webb's repeated BCS appearance. Arizona Cardinals defensive end Darnell Dockett even got in on the action, maybe a little too much so...

@ddockett: "@_KatherineWebb aye u going to king of diamonds Monday after game? Aye @_KatherineWebb hit me (XXX) XXX-XXXX when game over, let's go to wing stop then King of diamond."

Then moments later, @ddockett: "Sh## that was supposed to be DM!... Y'all think I don't know how to erase a DM? and y'all think I'm embarrassed ? y'all really don't know me?"

Dockett soon managed to remove his personal cellphone number from the popular social networking site.

And McCarron's response to his sweetheart's newfound fame, after finding out that Miami Heat star LeBron James even started following her? ""No way, say you swear! Man, I'm going to tweet him and I'm going to get a follow. That's messed up. Hey, I guess she's more famous than me."

James later un-followed Webb on Twitter for some unknown reason.
