British actor Henry Cavill remains a longtime fan-favorite to snag the coveted role of Christian Grey in the highly-anticipated film adaptation of E.L. James' hit erotica novel "Fifty Shades of Grey." Now that the 29-year-old "Superman: Man of Steel" heartthrob was recently named Fandango's "Breakout Star" of 2013, the "Fifty Shades" buzz has only gained momentum. Will the popular movie ticketing corporation's prestigious recognition help Cavill reign over other top fan picks including Ian Somerhalder and Matt Bomer? Meanwhile, Cavill also won the title of having the "best and sexiest Christian Grey body" in a recent "Fifty Shades" Twitter casting poll. So it looks like Cavill definitely remains in the Christian Grey running (at least in fans' minds)!
The fans have spoken, and Fandango's Chief Correspondent Dave Karger agrees that Cavill, star of the much-hyped about 2013 Superman installment "Man of Steel," will be recognized as the "Biggest Male Breakout Movie Star" of 2013. But even before earning that title, several "Fifty Shades" enthusiasts believed that Cavill would make the perfect Christian Grey fit - check out some of these comments gathered in numerous Mstarz casting polls:
Becca: "Henry Cavill is the one. He's young, tall, masculine, broad-shouldered, has stunning gray eyes, strong face/jaw, is a great actor, charismatic, intimidating, and panty-droppingly beautiful!!!"

And now that the "Tudors" star is "officially" recognized for his stellar acting work, more fans are pining for the handsome, chiseled Brit to snag the kinky role:
