Should fans be worried about Cher's health and safety? The Goddess of Pop's ex-husband Sonny Bono died during a tragic skiing accident back in 1998. But according to the seedy gossip tabloid National Enquirer, the 69-year-old songstress is just feeling the devastating blow of Bono's passing now. And her life's in jeopardy.

Apparently, Cher is totally "obsessed" with the death of her "second half." The situation's ugly, and now the "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" superstar's mental and physical wellness is at high risk. An alleged insider reveals:

"Cher goes to his gravesite with flowers and comes back all weepy and looking like death warmed over. She's even cried, 'I'm ready to be with Sonny again.' Cher truly believes the end is near for her."

The report provides no legit details or proof, but she's supposedly suffering from kidney and heart failure. That's why she hasn't been keeping-up with fans.

But as GossipCop cleverly points out, Cher still lives in Beverly Hills. Bono's body is buried in Palm Springs - a whopping 138 miles away. So if she's acting like a hermit, why (and how) would she travel that huge distance so often?

But the crazy lies continue. While recently vacationing in St. Tropez in the South of France, Cher was so sad and weak that "she had to be supported [onto a boat] by friends who firmly grasped her arms, believing she was close to collapse."

Well, the Enquirer has insisted that "Cher's dying" for months now, although she appears happy and content. Again, another legit source claims that such morbid hearsay is completely "false."

Cher hasn't posted on Instagram in over two weeks, but things still seem okay...

cher: "cher and _________ _____________."

Oh - and that's fellow singer Norah Jones.

Are MstarsNews readers shocked by these devastating (but probably bogus) details?
