Rumors initially suggested that despite breaking off their engagement back in September 2013, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus still remained good friends. Several fans assumed that the couple would eventually get back together after Cyrus dumped 21-year-old model, Patrick Schwarzenegger. Well, maybe not - because "The Hunger Games" heartthrob is now supposedly dating stunning actress Maika Monroe!
Both 25-year-old Hemsworth and 22-year-old Monroe star in 2016's highly-anticipated "Independence Day: Resurgance." Here's a brief summary of Roland Emmerich's new flick (via IMDb):

Apparently the two aren't officially dating, but sparks did fly over the July Fourth holiday weekend. An alleged Us Weekly snitch who also attended Emmerich's star-studded Hollywood bash reveals:
"His hand was on her butt as she was grinding into him and they were making out at the bar... Liam was draped all over her. It was so PDA and in-your-face... Their chemistry is ridiculous!"
Well, does the Australian hottie's ex-fiancee approve?
The Bangerz twerker is currently too busy making-out with another sexy model (Stella Maxwell) to even really care. Actually, she thinks Monroe is cute!
"Miley heard about them hooking up and she has no problem with it," a supposed insider tells the popular gossip webloid HollywoodLife.com. "She thinks Maika's hot - she's like, 'High-five, Liam!' And Miley's busy with Stella right now, so she's not worrying about it."

Meanwhile, Cyrus' former "The Last Song" lover isn't surprised by her shocking behavior:
"He is aware and nothing surprises him anymore with Miley but he is not heartbroken, he has moved on," yet another source explains. "But he is aware of the hookup."
