Draya Michele didn't buy her own engagement ring, if you ask her ex-fiancé, Orlando Scandrick. According to a new Instagram post by Baller Alert, the Dallas Cowboys star replied to the rumors and is setting the record straight about the former couple's engagement.

In the snapshot below, the infamous gossip site wrote in their headlines, "Exclusive: Orlando Scandrick NEVER Proposed to Draya, She Reportedly Bought Her Own Engagement Ring"

Scandrick clapped back and replied, "LIES sometimes in life thing[s] don't jus[t] workout as planned." MStars News previously reported that Scandrick decided to call off the couple's engagement, claiming that it was a "poor decision."

"I have made the decision to call off the engagement and permanently end the relationship I had with Draya," Scandrick previously stated. "In hindsight, it was a poor decision to propose."

Following their breakup, Draya claimed that she didn't realize how much of a clown she looked like in the public eye, even slamming the rumors that she bought her own engagement ring.

She tweeted: "I was just involved in a circus and didn't know I was the clown." Draya added, "I would NEVER buy my own ring or fake an engagement."

She ended with, "It must be fun to watch someone throw stones at a person, so much fun others want to join in on the rock slinging."

Just before the breakup announcement, Draya was spotted talking about her wedding details and revealed how Orlando popped the question.

In the video clip below, she said: "It was traditional...get down on one knee, you know. He said, 'Will you marry me?"'

So sad that the wedding most were anticpating will never happen, for now that is.

MStars News believes that the on-again, off-again couple could get back together. Do you believe that too?
