Kate Upton Disses Ex-Flame Mark Sanchez on Twitter: Model Bashes Jets' Quarterback following Notre Dame's BCS Championship Loss

University of Alabama's all-star quarterback AJ McCarron and his stunning Miss Alabama girlfriend Katherine Webb weren't the only ones to spark a little Twitter buzz following the highly-anticipated BCS National Championship NCAAF game Monday evening (Jan. 7). While McCannon and Webb were all smiles and positive energy, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton took Notre Dame's 14-42 loss against the Crimson Tide as an opportunity to bash former flame Mark Sanchez. That's right, the New York Jets starting quarterback wasn't even on the field Monday night and Upton still managed to totally diss him AND his team!

The infamous "Cat Daddy" YouTube sensation (who has over a whopping 660,000 followers on Twitter) tweeted this following the Fighting Irish's devastating loss against Alabama (ultimately keeping Notre Dame from an undefeated 2012-2013 season):

@KateUpton: "It's okay Notre Dame this happened to the Jets every week."

(Upton and Sanchez never officially came out as a couple, but rumors have it that they indeed dated at one point last year).

Although the Jets did have a rather dismal season this year (snagging the no 26 spot in the NFL out of a total 32 teams), Notre Dame's loss really had nothing to do with Sanchez's performance out on the turf... but Upton's little Twitter jab manages to remind fans just how bad of a season he had. Ouch!

Upton - 1. Jets, Sanchez, and Notre Dame - 0.

Nonetheless, Upton continues to have a thing for attractive professional athletes. She is currently dating MLB's Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander (who, unlike Sanchez, had a rather phenomenal season this year... the Tigers made it all the way to the World Series before falling to the San Francisco Giants).
