Detroit rapper Eminem might "lose himself" if Wiz Khalifa's hit summer tune "See You Again" snags the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart (again).

According to HipHopDX.com, Khalifa's "Furious 7" track featuring Charlie Puth is currently tied with two other songs for the "longest run at No. 1 for a rap single.' Right now, that title is shared between the Black Eyed Peas (2009's "Boom Boom Pow" from The E.N.D.) and Slim Shady (2002's "Lose Yourself" from the "8 Mile" soundtrack).

All three songs held the highly-coveted spot for a total of 12 consecutive weeks. Therefore, if "See You Again" remains at the top in Week 13, the infamous "Rap God" and Fergie's crew are officially out!

But Amber Rose's ex-hubby faces some serious competition heading into the heat of summer 2015. Jamaican native OMI's catchy tune "Cheerleader" could easily overtake Khalifa's current title:

As Billboard explains:

'Again' holds the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100 despite no longer leading any of the chart's component lists... Can 'Again' claim the record all to itself with a 13th week at No. 1 on the Hot 100 next week? It faces a serious challenge from OMI's 'Cheerleader': it pushes 3-2 and trails 'Again' by a narrow margin this week.

Intense stuff!

The report continues:

In addition to Khalifa, Em, and the Black Eyed Peas, other rap artists who have had the longest-leading rap hits on the Billboard Hot 100 include Puff Daddy, Flo Rida, Kanye West, and Nelly.

Meanwhile, the MMLP2 superstar just released a new collaboration with No Doubt songstress Gwen Stefani entitled "Kings Never Die" for the official "Southpaw" movie soundtrack:

So, how about an epic collaboration between the "Roll Up" singer and the renowned "Love The Way You Lie" lyricist?
