CBS' 'Supergirl': Twitter Reactions To Melissa Benoist, Calista Flockhart Pilot At 2015 SDCC!

Before its the official October premiere date, CBS brought over their DC Comics superheroine Supergirl to 2015 San Diego Comic-Con. Twitter had tons of reactions to the SDCC pilot screening starring Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks), and Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart).

As we previously mentioned, the CBS superhero drama will follow the comic book adventures of Kara Zor-El (Benoist). Born on the planet Krypton, Kara Zor-El escaped before its destruction. While living on Earth, Kara has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at the tender age of 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and become the hero she was always meant to be.

According to Entertainment Weekly, convention-goers were given an early look at the CBS' eagerly anticipated superhero pilot. The screening was held at the opening night of the convention Wednesday night. Though pilot was previously leaked online before, there were rave reviews for the leading actress and supporting cast.
