Frankie Grande proved that blood is really thicker than water today as he came to the defense of his sister Ariana Grande in the midst of her donut controversy. The former Nickelodeon starlet caused quite the uproar early this week when she was was caught on camera licking donuts from a donut shop and saying that she hates America. However, the Big Brother star took to his Twitter page to express his love for his sister in the midst of her scandal.

The star sent out two tweets to his sister writing, "U made a mistake & r being JUDGED very HARSHLY for it but ur doing the right thing in the face of it & I'm so proud."

In his follow up tweet he commented, "He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her," including the hashtag, "#WeForgiveYouAriana."

US Weekly previously reported on Grande's donut licking incident, as owner of the Wolfee Donut Shop in California, Joe Marin, spoke out to the site explaining what happened.

"She was being rude. She kept telling my employee – an experienced donut server – she came to buy six donuts," Marin explained. "She kept wanting the donuts in the back because my bakers were baking at that time. So my employee kept going in the back to go get the donuts that they were baking, [then] she brought them out there and put them on top of the donut display, and [Grande] sent her to go get some more," which is when the singer was caught licking the pastries.

TMZ got a hold of the video, which can be watched at the source.

Grande has since apologized for the fiasco, posting a video message to YouTube, saying, "I was so disgusted with myself. Seeing how ugly it looks when you behave a certain way makes you want to never behave that way again."
