'The X-Files' Revival Promo: David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson's Mulder & Scully "201 Days!"

Back by popular demand, the iconic sci-fi/horror series returns with an all-new promo from Fox. Before the season premiere of the highly anticipated revival of The X-Files, do the paranormal investigators Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) have "201 Days" to live?

As we previously mentioned, 13 years have passed since FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully were on the TV screen solving weird and supernatural cases. The reboot of Fox's popular sci-fi series continues with 6 brand new episodes. Not only are the leads set to reprise their iconic roles, creator Chris Carter will takeover as showrunner for the franchise that launched his and many other careers.

According to TV Line, Fox released the teaser through through social media, such as their official Facebook page. As a way to alert fans, the video was entitled, "201 Days of The X-Files," a social media-supported, episode-a-day viewing of the supernatural series. After 30 seconds of old clips from previous episodes, the promo sneaks in the first glimpse of the federal agents in action.

Blink and you might miss the frames of Scully and Mulder back in their element. The duo can be seen entering a dark room. Though they have flashlights in their hands and their guns drawn, notice Scully's reactions as she looks horrified by what she sees.

As we previously mentioned, Mulder (Duchovny) and Scully (Anderson) have landed on the front cover of Entertainment Weekly magazine, which is in newsstands now. EW arrived on the scene, getting the scoop on the first script while cameras rolled during the very first week of production.
