Announced at the 2015 San Diego Comic Con, DC Entertainment and IDW Publishing are teaming up for biggest crossover miniseries ever, Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Bruce Wayne will meet the iconic ninja turtles, Raphael, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Leonardo  in the six-part crossover event.

As we previously mentioned, Bruce Wayne has gone missing since his climatic confrontation with The Joker in Endgame. Knowing Gotham City needs its protector back, former police commissioner James Gordon has decided to put on the Bat mantle. But is it possible for the law-breaking vigilante to work within the system?

We also mentioned, the Turtles have seen seen better days, especially Donatello who has come back from the dead, well sort of. After his brutal defeat at the hands of Bebop and Rocksteady, Donatello found his spirt drifting off in the afterlife, until he was brought back to life by his father, Splinter. Unfortunately, Donatello didn't find himself back in his own body, but in a robot.

According to the official DC Entertainment website, during San Diego Comic Con 2015, there is an ongoing power struggle between the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, General Krang, and the Foot Clan. Now that the battle lines have been drawn. Krang gets rid of both the Turtles and Shredder by transporting them to another dimension. The crossover event will be written by James Tynion IV (Batman Eternal) and drawn by Freddie E. Williams II (Robin).

The Turtles and Shredder suddenly find themselves in the dark and dangerous streets of Gotham City. It isn't long before they all encounter Gotham's most famous resident, Batman. The Caped Crusader may be their only hope of overcoming their enemies and getting back home.

Writer James Tynion IV reveals, "I've been extremely luck to spend so much time working in Gotham City, but it's always a thrill to see the world of Batman through new eyes. Taking the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on a Gotham adventure is a fanboy dream come true."

Tynion shared another snapshot on Twitter and writes, "There's really only one thing to say, huh? Cowabunga!"

Readers, are you excited to get your hands on Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
