Comedian David Letterman might have retired from The Late Show on CBS but that hasn't stopped the funnyman from churning out some seriously hilarious material since the end of his series. During a recent surprise visit to Martin Short and Steve Martin's A Very Stupid Conversation show in San Antonio, Letterman stopped by to dish out a very special Top Ten list regarding Donald Trump's presidential announcement.

Letterman kicked off his appearance noting that he was totally happy and satisfied with his decision to retire back when he did so... until Donald Trump announced his presidential candidacy.

"I have made the biggest mistake of my life, ladies and gentlemen," Letterman joked. He then pulled out a card, saying, "Every suit I own comes with a Top Ten list." And naturally, the crowd went nuts.

Check out Letterman's San Antonio appearance below:

Let's take a look at some of the best "Interesting Facts about Donald Trump":

No. 10: That thing on his head was the gopher in Caddy Shack.
No. 7: He wants to build a wall? How about building a wall around that thing on his head.
No. 3: That's not a hairdo; it's a wind advisory.
No. 1: Thanks to Donald Trump, the Republican mascot is also an ass.

It's probably safe to say that Letterman's surprise appearance won't be the last time we see him around.
