Amy Duggar Engaged! '19 Kids' Star Posts Instagram Pic with Fiancé Dillon King

19 Kids and Counting stars might be still reeling from the scandal that took place earlier this year, but it looks like some of the family members aren't dwelling on the past, but instead looking forward to a brighter future. While there have been pregnancy, births and courtship announcements among the kids including Jessa, Josiah, and Josh, another member of the Duggar family is about to walk down the aisle. That's right, niece to patriarch Jim Bob and cousin to Jill and Jana, Amy Duggar has announced that her and her boyfriend Dillon King are making plans to get married. The country music singer's boyfriend of nine months got down on one knee earlier today to ask for the star's hand in marriage.

Amy took to her Instagram page to post a close up picture of the couple's arms intertwined, which showed off the gorgeous new accessory on her finger.

"I'm so happy to announce... WE ARE ENGAGED!!!" the starlet wrote on the picture, adding, "He loves the Lord, he makes me laugh uncontrollably, he's loyal, he's patient, he's my best friend. Of course I said yes!!"

Radar Online reported that the engagement wasn't a huge surprise for Amy as her and Dillon started to look at rings in the spring. However, the site did report that how and when King popped the question was all up to him.

Dillon also took to his social media site to reveal the good news, writing, "I ask you to be my fiancée not just because I love you right now. I got down on one knee because you are the only woman I have and will truly love."

Congrats to the happy couple!!
