'Teen Mom' Returning To MTV Next Season! Get Ready For More Farrah, Maci, Catelynn, & Amber!

Teen Mom OG had a very dramatic season that saw porn star Farrah Abraham, Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, and Catelynn Lowell go through feuds, fights, relationships, pregnancies, and life changing decisions. This all made for great television, but will MTV bring the show back for another season?

According to The Ashley Reality Roundup, the answer is YES!

"Teen Mom is here to stay- at least for another season," the reality news site reported. "The Ashley can exclusively confirm that Teen Mom OG has been renewed for yet another season!"

"Two very good sources have confirmed to The Ashley that the show, which ended its fifth season in June, will be back for a sixth season," the site broke. "Although MTV has not yet officially released the announcement that the show has been renewed, The Ashley's sources tell her that it is definitely coming back."

This news isn't surprising at all given the great ratings the show received when it premiered in March to almost 2 million viewers. While the number of watchers slid after the first episode, many came back to watch the Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom star's return to the hit reality series.

"Farrah's first full episode the next week saw another sizable uptick as ratings rose to 1.822 million. This week's episode would seem to indicate the ratings may have plateaued with a very similar, but still very strong, 1.855 million viewers tuning in," Starcasm reported at the time, calling it the "Farrah Effect."

As MStars News reported, the XXX actress' return to the show that made her famous almost made costar Maci quit filming. However, she later changed her mind, but didn't let her son Bentley be part of the show anymore.

"My feelings have nothing to do with Farrah personally. It's not about her, it's more or less that I don't find it appropriate for my six-year-old son - who has to wake up and go to kindergarten the day after the show airs - to be on a show where they are at strip clubs or talking about porn," the mother of two told Cosmopolitan.
