Smackdown Spoilers 7/16/15: Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus and Big Show

WWE taped the July 16, 2015 edition of Thursday Night Smackdown on Tuesday from Birmingham, Alabama, and the final show before Battleground features a tag team main event of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus and Big Show.

Bray Wyatt opens the show with a promo, and Reigns interrupts him. The tag team main event is booked during this segment.

The New Day defeat The Lucha Dragons when Big E gets the pinfall. The Prime Time Players are on commentary for the match, which hopefully means Titus O'Neil gets another chance to shine at the desk.

King Barrett defeats Jack Swagger with the Bullhammer. R-Truth cuts a promo on his Battleground opponent after the match.

Cesaro defeats Rusev in a lengthy match that apparently rivals the one they had on Monday Night Raw.

Neville defeats Stardust to even the score after their match on Raw.

Reigns and Ambrose defeat Sheamus and Show by disqualification when Wyatt interferes. The Shield brothers run off the heels and stand tall to end the show.
