Anne Hathaway Pregnant? 'Les Mis' Starlet Denies Rumors, Giuliana Rancic Stirs 'Baby Bump' Buzz at Golden Globes [VIDEO]

Although "Les Miserables" starlet Anne Hathaway heatedly denies rumors that she is pregnant with hubby Adam Shulman's baby, the pregnancy rumors were fueled at Sunday evening's Golden Globe Awards (Jan. 13), when E! News host Giuliana Rancic mentioned the baby bump gossip at a Red Carpet pre-show. Hathaway recently admitted that she'd love to start a family one day... just not quite yet. Even so, Rancic's on-air pregnancy spiel caused a huge stir on Twitter and several social media outlets, prompting Hathaway's reps to release a statement insisting that the 30-year-old "Devil Wears Prada" starlet isn't expecting anytime soon.

During E!'s "Countdown to the Red Carpet" on Sunday, the popular "Fashion Police" television personality stated:

"Rumors are that Anne Hathaway may be pregnant. That's the buzz on the street right now, which, if true that may be the ultimate award season good luck charm... Just ask Natalie Portman who two years swept the award season for her work in 'Black Swan' while she was pregnant with her first child. Also Rachel Weisz had a bump while picking up hardware for 'The Constant Gardener' in 2006 and Catherine Zeta Jones in 2003, who was just about ready to pop."

And fans responded to the pregnancy buzz immediately:

But fans shouldn't get too excited over all of the baby hype yet... according to Hathaway's spokesperson, the pregnancy rumors are totally false:

Giuliana spilled nothing! It was very irresponsible what E! did and shame on Giuliana for saying something like that on TV when no one even called to check. She is not pregnant.

Another inside rep confirmed to RumorFix, "[Although she might have future plans], that doesn't mean she is adopting immediately or looking to get pregnant right away."

Hathaway, who married "The Dukes of Hazzard" actor Adam Shulman on September 29, 2012 in a private California ceremony, does hope to have children one day.... the timing just isn't quite right yet. But considering how eager Hathaway appears to want and have a child, it's no wonder the pregnancy rumors are buzzing. In a recent interview with the Telegraph the "Princess Diaries" starlet claims, "I've wanted to be a mom since I was 16. I'm 30 and I want to have a family of a certain size. Look, I'll start with one healthy kid but I'd like to have a few naturally and adopt. I gotta get on it, you know? I'd like to have as many as I can afford, not just financially but in terms of time, because you want to make sure each one feels special. I've had one goal in mind for the past 12 years, which is: get a movie, get a movie, get a movie. Now I might have to say: get a baby, get a baby, get a baby."
