Honey Boo Boo Ban: Mama June Kicks 'Crazy Tony' Off the Show After Wild 'Gorilla Suit' Arrest, Uncomfortable with Insane Behavior

Despite the Thompson clan's wild and inappropriate antics on the hit TLC reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," Mama June has her limits when such wild and crazy times eventually lead to illegal activity. According to recent reports, the Thompson matriarch has banned family friend "Crazy" Tony (real name, Tony Lindsay) from ever appearing on the hit "redneck fam" reality series again. Apparently, Lindsay was arrested back in November for a prank involving a man prancing around the freeway in a gorilla suit... and that's just too insane (even for Mama June and her outspoken beauty pageant queen wannabe daughter, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson).

TMZ reports that Crazy Tony, a family friend who has made several wild appearances on "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" (usually involving some sort of ridiculous quad bike trick), has been kicked off the show... indefinitely. And why exactly did Mama June decide to make the cut... well, it has something to do with an arrest involving a large gorilla suit and cars speeding down the Georgia freeway.

Back in November, Crazy Tony took part in a dangerous prank involving a man dressed in a full-out gorilla suit. The wild creature would jump out on the side of the freeway, scaring those driving in oncoming traffic. The police were not amused... and neither was Mama June.

Honey Boo Boo's unconventional guardian explains to TMZ, "We love [Crazy Tony] as a friend ... but that was a crazy story..."Not trying to be mean, but we want to keep it family oriented."

Because of his little gorilla suit stint which ended in an arrest, Mama June isn't comfortable with Crazy Tony appearing on the show with her four young daughters (and grandchild, baby Kaitlyn).

Mama June insists that Crazy Tony isn't related to the Thompson crew in any way, although they refer to him as a cousin on the show. According to June, "Crazy Tony's just a family friend ... who is just crazy."

As for Crazy Tony, he's apparently "super bummed" for getting the "Honey Boo Boo" boot. He recently told TMZ, "TV's changed that family."
