Nailla Robinson, a five-year-old girl who was abducted from her Bryant Elementary School kindergarten classroom in Philadelphia on Monday (Jan. 14), was found abandoned in a park outside the city limits early Tuesday morning, wearing nothing but a thin t-shirt and huddling scared under a playground jungle gym. According to reports, a woman posing as Robinson's mother removed the young student from the safety of her classroom at approximately 8:50 a.m. on Monday. Although shaken and scared, Robinson was discovered unharmed and promptly returned to the proper care of her real mother on Tuesday after an Amber Alert was issued.

Once it was discovered that Robinson was actually abducted, Pennsylvania state police issued an Amber Alert stating that a woman "wearing black Muslim-style clothing" had taken the young girl from her classroom early Monday morning.

Officials at the elementary school didn't discover that Robinson was missing until about 3 p.m., when her daycare provider arrived to pick her up, and she was nowhere in sight. The Amber Alert was issued 12 hours after Robinson's initial abduction.

Although school surveillance cameras captured Robinson walking through school hallways with the unknown woman, the imposter has not yet been found or identified.

According to Robinson's mother Latifah Rashid, her five-year-old daughter was just dropped off at her kindergarten classroom five minutes prior to the abduction. "[The suspect] told her teacher that she was me, her mother, and that she was taking her out to breakfast and Nailla was already signed out at the office and she took my child and left," a tearful Rashid told WPVI.

Thankfully, Robinson was found (abandoned but unharmed) at an Upper Derby Township playground early Tuesday morning (Jan. 15). According to Upper Darby police Superintendent Michael Chitwood, a man heard cries for help by the park at around 4:40 a.m. Upon further inspection, he then found the young girl hiding under a jungle gym, cold and scared but more importantly not hurt.

Robinson was promptly transported to a nearby children's hospital where she was examined and finally reunited with her anxious parents. Police are still currently searching for the female abductor.

Robinson told police that after being abducted, she was blindfolded and forced to walk several blocks to a house. Later, a teenage girl took her to the park, where she was abandoned until finally being discovered Tuesday morning.
