The Pittsburgh Pirates take the field against the Kansas City Royals in Week 16 of the regular season on Tuesday, July 21 at 8:10 p.m. EST at Ewing M. Kauffman Stadium in Missouri. Pittsburgh now holds an impressive 54-38 winning record and remains 2nd in the National League Central Division. The Pirates snagged a Game 1 win against Kansas City on Monday evening (July 20).

After taking three of four from the White Sox, including a win over the red-hot Chris Sale, the Royals face a tough stretch, with the Pirates (3), Cardinals (1), Astros (3), Indians (3), Blue Jays (4) and Tigers (3) in their next 17 games." With that, Kansas City snags 55 wins and only 36 losses and is now 1st in the American League Central Division.
