Two of the hottest 2015 San Diego Comic-Con trailers that were leaked and then subsequently released by Warner Bros. Studios were DC Comics adaptations Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and the off-shoot project Suicide Squad-but which has racked up more views on YouTube? According to a new report, the movie featuring the lesser known characters has toppled the biggest names in comics! Why do you think Suicide Squad is the most watched trailer over Batman v. Superman? According to the streaming media monitoring firm Zefr, Suicide Squad received 50.9 million views in its first week of release, which was far from the second-place Batman v. Superman trailer that landed at 19.8 million views (via Slash Film / Gamma Squad).

The Hollywood Reporter points out that Suicide Squad's views are comparable to the trailers for Avengers: Age of Ultron (50.6 million) and Jurassic World (53.9 million), which were recently featured on a most watched YouTube trailers list. You can check out this list right here!

Hitting third place with 11.8 million views is the trailer for The Revenant, the new film from Birdman director Alejandro González Iñárritu starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy. You can watch this trailer here!
