Rapper Lil Wayne recently got high on a flight leaving Fort Lauderdale. And in more ways than one.

According to gossip webloid TMZ, Weezy and his YMCMB crew wanted to smoke marijuana while breezing through the skies on a private jet. The #FWA hypeman even asked the pilot for permission - obviously, the answer was a firm "no way."

But Wayne and his posse didn't listen.

Following takeoff, the guys immediately lit a joint. The captain was not very pleased. So just 17-minutes into the flight, he turned the plane around and landed right back from where they all started.

Apparently, Wayne was in wild party mode. Before boarding the exclusive jet, the 32-year-old New Orleans emcee was spotted holding a double-cup allegedly containing Sizzurp. Remember, this dangerous "purple drank" concoction includes a heavy dose of prescription-strength cough syrup (usually codeine). Weezy actually experienced a shocking bout of seizures last year after consuming too much of the popular street beverage.

Maybe Christina Milian's boyfriend is feeling too much stress and pressure lately? Earlier this month, Wayne's bitter Cash Money feud with Birdman and Young Thug heightened to life-threatening extremes. The hip-hop mogul just issued another massive lawsuit against the release of any new Tunechi music, this time also against Tidal owner Jay-Z. Not to mention that nonstop drama involving his numerous baby mama(s) won't slow down anytime soon. Remember Lauren London?

Do MstarsNews readers agree that Weezy needs to take a break, before he risks another potential health scare?

Weezy hasn't posted too many clues on Twitter, so stay tuned for any further updates and be sure to sound-off in the comments section below.
