'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' Xbox, PC Multiplayer Gameplay Beta Open in August 2015

We recently learned that the PlayStation 4 open Beta gameplay testing for Call of Duty: Black Ops III was on the way, and now we know that it will be available on Aug. 19 and run through Aug. 23. Plus, we now have some great news for PC and Xbox One gamers: another open multiplayer Beta for PC and Xbox will run from Aug. 26 to Aug. 30, which is way before the game's November 6, 2015 release date. According to Activision's blog update on this topic, players that pre-order the highly anticipated shooter will gain access to the multiplayer Betas running next month (via IGN).

"During the beta, fans will have an opportunity to try the new momentum-based, chained movement system, find the perfect Specialist to fit their play style, get a feel for the new multiplayer maps, and more," the blog post states.
