According to the aptly names Beer Street Journal (via UPROXX), the series films in Georgia where the brewery is based, which led to this amazing partnership. Plus, the series has also features a number of local breweries in episodes, so this is another way of saying thanks!

A press release announcing this new brew states that the series and the beer company "have teamed up to brew the official beer of the undead. Made with blood orange peel,, and a horrific amount of hops, this bloodthirsty red IPA will have you prepared for the upcoming Zombie Apocalypse."
