Coming off the heels of his WTF podcast episode with President Barack Obama, comedian Marc Maron is gearing up to release his first stand-up special in just about 20 years. Marc Maron: More Later will air on Epix this coming December 4.

The last release from Maron, other than his noted IFC series Maron, came in 2013 in the form of the album and Netflix special, Thinky Pain. Check out the audio below:

Splitsider reports that Marc Maron: More Later was filmed at The Vic in Chicago. The special "follows Maron as he tackles religion, relationships, rage, Skype sex and ice cream among other topics in the sheerly authentic way that only he can."

The new special will air on Epix this December 4 at 10 p.m.

WTF with Marc Maron is one of the most popular podcasts around, appearing to always be sitting in the top 10 podcasts on iTunes. The show averages roughly 5 million downloads per month, according to the reports – with President Obama's episode alone nabbing 2.3 million downloads – and has welcomed in some of the biggest names in comedy (and the world) around. To name a few, Maron has welcomed in the likes of Louis C.K., Dane Cook, Conan O'Brien Robin Williams, and yes, our Commander in Chief, President Barack Obama.

Check out a few of Maron's Instagram photos from the day President Obama came to his garage.
