Even after massive "Twilight" fame, the Hollywood success of former lovers Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson continues skyrocketing. And film producers Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen couldn't be more proud.

During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Godfrey reveals that he still keeps in touch with Robsten (although they're no longer together):

"We keep in touch with all of them in the way you keep in touch with actors who have busy lives and are half your age... Every half-year we catch up and try to find something else to work on together. They've each been really smart about the way they've followed up their Twilight careers in that they've not jumped into big studio fare in general. They've chosen directors and movies based on the movie, not the size of the movie."

Several fans agree that both K-Stew and R-Patz made the right decision by now focusing on more "indie" projects.

Godfrey continues his praise:

"Kristen being the first American actress to win a Cesar was pretty f*cking cool. And Rob's just worked with a string of people you'd want to be on your filmography when you're done."

Meanwhile, 28-year-old Pattinson's relationship with English songstress FKA Twigs remains in the background. Will the couple tie the knot soon, are is their engagement already struggling? Well, several Twitter fans would still love an offscreen reunion between Bella and Edward:

@iRobstnxx: "I love robsten, a lot [crying]."

@stsewart: "i hate people but i love kristen stewart and robert pattinson so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

@etherealstiles: "I used to be so in love with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart when I was in like middle school oh god whyyyyyYyYyYy."

@Cattttasstic: "I miss when Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were for real together."

@WarmCrazyDays: "Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart <3 it's getting warm in here <3."

Godrey's highly-anticipated new film with Bowen "Paper Towns" (starring Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff) finally hits theaters on Friday (July 24):
