Singer-songwriter Alicia Keys will be performing the national anthem at NFL's Super Bowl XLVII Feb. 3.

"Oh my goodness, I'm crazy excited about it. Being able to do the national anthem and actually set the whole game off is a dream come true. It's really exciting. It's a historical moment, that day, so I'm looking forward to really doing it my style and my way, and I'm looking forward to really making it great," she said to MTV.

Keys is also part of President Obama's inauguration, Jan. 21 that will also include Katy Perry, Beyonce, Usher and others.

The 31-year-old singer premiered her movie "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete" at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, Jan. 17. Keys is the executive producer of the movie and has also scored music for it along with Mark Isham. The film is directed by George Tillman Jr., starring Anthony Mackie, Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks.

Keys has won 14 Grammy Awards in her lifetime. She released her fifth studio album "Girl on Fire" Nov. 22, 2012. The album has sold 478,200 copies, as of January 2013. The album was praised by Rolling Stone's Jody Rosen who said, "But she's an iconoclast, not an anachronist, spicing her flavorful midtempo songs and gusty inspirational ballads with odd chords, unexpected melodic twists, and rock and reggae flourishes... The result is both her catchiest and subtlest album yet - and one of the best R&B records of 2012," Rolling Stone reported.
