Bride Wars star Kate Hudson got back to her Almost Famous music roots...sort of. A new video she posted on Instagram shows her and her 11-year-old son Ryder dancing to Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen" to fend off boredom while stuck at the airport.

"How we deal with airport lounge boredom," Hudson captioned the clip, along with a handful of apparently deliberately silly hashtags.

Hudson keeps it cool, wearing a pair of sunglasses and bopping to the beat. Ryder, meanwhile, is clearly a "Trap Queen" fan and rapped along to every word.

Fetty Wap seems to have appreciated their tribute. He retweeted a particularly appreciative tweet about the video that called it "everything."

Ryder is the son of Hudson and her ex-husband singer Chris Robinson. She also has a 4-year-old son, Bingham, with ex-husband and Muse singer Matthew Bellamy.

The Instagram post shows Hudson dealing with typical modern mom problems. Along with #DancingWithMyBoy, Hudson hashtagged "WhenYourPreTeenWantsHisOwnInstagramAndYoureLikeNoooooooo," which TODAY Parents calls "a tag any parent can appreciate."

Kate and Ryan are now part of a new but already beloved tradition of airport boredom videos. Last summer, Richard Dunn became famous when he made a terrifically choreographed and edited video of himself lip-syncing Celine Dion's "All By Myself." Dunn was stuck in the airport overnight. Dion made a quick video in response, praising Dunn.

"Next time you're stuck all by yourself at the Las Vegas airport for hours and hours, please be my guest at my show," Dion said.

Earlier this year, the Oregon Acrobatics and Tumbling Team were stuck on a 13-hour layover at the San Francisco International Airport. To fight off their boredom, they choreographed a fire dance on a moving walkway to Beyoncé's "Flawless."

Hudson's trip seems to have eventually had a happy ending. She posted a video on Instagram on Monday of a plane landing, set to Ellie Goulding's "Anything Could Happen."
