Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert may have shocked the world when they announced that they were getting divorced earlier this month, but the country crooners are showing that they aren't about to be those bitter exes from the country songs that they write. In fact, the stars are taking to their social media sites to put on a happy face for their fans and followers. They have even taken it one step further and have been responding directly to each other on their Twitter pages.

While the couple announced the split on July 20, they were back at talking to each other on the social media platform just four days after that. Forget four days, it would probably take us four years before we talked to an ex on any social site.

According to Radar Online, the reason that they started talking to each other on Twitter was to bond over fellow country star and friend Ashley Monroe's new album.

"Hey can u believe there's people who haven't bought ashleymoroe new album?" Blake wrote to his former wife. "Isn't that shocking?"

Miranda wasted no time responding to her ex, writing, "no I can't because it is the best work she has ever done! I love it! We love you ashleymonroe."

One fan questioned whether or not Blake used pre-set tweet, meaning that he would have had to schedule this before him and Miranda broke up. However, the county singer dismissed the reports, writing, "Nope... Not at all buddy."

Miranda also wrote to Blake last week after pictures of him emerged in the press of him wheeling around a baby stroller, according to ET.

Lambert quickly played up the fact that the couple was constantly hounded by pregnancy rumors, writing to the star, "I knew it.... You WERE pregnant! This calls for a drink!"
