Rapper Lil Kim's ongoing custody battle with ex-lover Peoples "Mr. Papers" Hernandez just got more intense. The "How Many Licks" superstar now says that Papers got physically abusive towards her during their whirlwind romance. But the aspiring emcee insists that Kim's lying, and he still wants visitation rights with his young daughter.

According to the popular gossip webloid bossip.com, 27-year-old Papers filed a new claim with the family courts just last month. He'd even agree to supervised visits with Royal Reign if need be:

"He's not trying to take custody, he's not trying to take her," his publicist Tasha Hilton explains. "He is literally just trying to see her. He's been trying to do it very quietly."

But Kim won't let things progress so peacefully. The 41-year-old hip-hop icon ditched their July 9 hearing, and filed her own lawsuit instead. Apparently, Papers was extremely abusive and "beat up" Kim while they were dating. But the Bronx native believes that she's now lying in order to block such baby daddy privileges:

"She's playing really dirty now with the domestic situation," Hilton reveals. "There has never been any domestic violence."

The ex-couple will appear before a North Jersey family court judge later this week to face such domestic violence allegations. Papers won't give up the fight for his little girl:

"He doesn't want his daughter to grow up and think her father didn't care about her," Hilton concludes. "The one thing that does matter to him is having his daughter in his life."

Kim briefly dated (the much younger) Papers back in 2012. Despite constant break-ups, the Hard Core darling announced her pregnancy in February 2014 and gave birth in June.

Stay tuned as more details develop.
