Heavy metal band Guns N' Roses has thrown open the footage that was shot for their upcoming 3D concert movie.

The footage was shot when the rock band was doing a 12-show 'Appetite for Democracy' residency at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, November 2012.

Fans can now have a look at the clips that will be part of the American band's movie. The footage was recorded when the band performed in Las Vegas for a massive three hour plus gig where they played more than 30 songs, Loudwire reported.

Though the complete set list has not been revealed yet, the movie is said to feature tracks since they dropped their first album, "Appetite for Destruction" in 1987 until their 2008 album "Chinese Democracy."

The 3D movie will be released in 2013.
