Netflix also has the just-as-iconic (though for different reasons) film Stand by Me, based on the novella The Body from Stephen King. This is a coming-of -age story of childhood friends going on an adventure to look at a dead body. They encounter plenty of trouble that almost leads to death, but they become like brothers thanks to their shared experience.

This recent summer comedy is just a lot of fun. When a young man has to get a job in the summer instead of going on a European adventure, he learns that a theme park may seem like a lame place to work, but the people he meets have a huge impact on his life.
