Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has added another new cast member for Season 3. This time, former Entourage star Constance Zimmer has joined the ABC series.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Zimmer will play the leader of a mysterious government organization that will butt heads with Phil Coulson's S.H.I.E.L.D. as both groups scour the earth for new Inhumans. Zimmer will debut in the Season 3 premiere, and EW describes her as the main antagonist and a capable foe for Coulson.

It's unclear if Zimmer is playing an established Marvel character or an original creation for the series.

As you prepare for Season 3, check out our Top 5 Best Moments from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in Season 2:

Skye Fights Her Mother

Skye's arc throughout the series has revolved around her search for identity, particularly with regard to her mother. For much of the second season, Skye was comfortable working with S.H.I.E.L.D., until she found her biological mother and father.

Cal may have been a murderer, but he was her dad. And Jiaying may have been the duplicitous leader of the Inhumans but she was her mom. And so we got a few family reunion scenes throughout the season.

But the real payoff came in the Season 2 finale, when Skye aka Quake decided to fight her mother after she realized that Jaiying was manipulating everyone and starting a war with S.H.I.E.L.D. This was a big step for a character who yearned for so long to find out about her real family. To then fight that family was to renounce her quest, but Skye did it because she knew it was for the greater good. When Cal killed Jiaying, it was a pivotal moment for all three characters because all Cal and Skye wanted was to reunite the family, but they ultimately had to destroy it.

Jiaying Kills Gonzalez

It seemed for a few brief moments that peace could be possible between the Inhumans and S.H.I.E.L.D., but Jiaying destroyed that when she killed Gonzalez, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s representative. This was a bit of a shocking moment because it confirmed that Jiaying was in fact the villain that would propel us into the finale. She would rather lead the Inhumans into war than truly try to negotiate peace with the spy organization. This one action brought us the stellar Season 2 finale.

Ward Tortures Mockingbird

Ward straddled the line between villain and man who could be redeemed throughout Season 2, but his villainous nature returned in the finale when he sadistically tortured Bobbi Morse to make her admit that she sold out Agent 33 to Hydra. This was brutal stuff, as he stuck pins under her nails but sedated her with a drug so that she wouldn't feel the effects for several hours. When she finally broke free, the two engaged in a bloody fight that ended with Ward locking up Mockingbird again and putting her into a trap that nearly killed Hunter. This was the kind of fight choreography we need more of in Season 3.

Agent May vs. Agent 33

Speaking of fight choreography, this fight between two badass women was stellar. Agent May and Agent 33 beat the tar out of each other, but eventually May earned the upper hand when she electrocuted 33's face and destroyed her mask. This actually informed Agent 33's storyline for the rest of Season 2.

We could also put May's execution of the Inhuman child in Bahrain on the list, as it was equally brutal.

Skye Becomes Daisy

The midseason finale proved that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. could accelerate its storytelling without losing substance. Rather than drag out the mystery of the Inhumans for the entire season, the show decided instead to wrap it up by the midseason finale.

This was an action-packed episode that ended with Skye down in the depths of the Inhuman city transforming into a completely new creature named Daisy Johnson aka Quake. It was a tremendous way to end the show before its lengthy break, and the cliffhanger kept us excited until the show returned.
